Another one of our favorite outdoor locations in Colorado Springs is Helen Hunt Falls. These falls are right off the road so they are super accessible for anyone looking for an adventure that is not too far from their car. Also, we have a soft place in our heart for Garden of the Gods Park. This iconic city park is a very special place, both to the city and the history of the earth. If you are interested in geology, rocks and anthropology places like Cave of the Winds and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings are also Colorado Springs gems. All of these places provide a unique perspective on the history of the piece of earth now known as Colorado. 

Additionally, we love to take out-of-town visitors to places like the United States Olympic Training Center and the United States Air Force Academy. Both of these locations are incredible national landmarks that hold a wealth of interesting things to see and learn about. Not to mention they are both located in beautiful locations. If you are an athlete there is a reason these national landmarks are in Colorado Springs. The elevation is high in Colorado Springs which allows enhances cardiovascular training at higher elevations with a lower source of oxygen.
