Join the United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum for the three day Hall of Fame Festival, June 25-27! The festival will feature a parade, opportunities to meet and interact with hall of famers/athletes, and showings of featured sports films from the International Sports Film Festival. This also gives you a chance to see this incredible museum if you haven't already. Some events of the Hall of Fame Festival include:
Saturday June 25th
- Fun Run and Walk 8:30am - 10:00am
- Parade Honoring Hall of Famers 10:00am - 11:00am
- Ticketed dinner with Hall of Famers 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Sunday June 26th
- Free soccer clinic led by Hall of Fame Athlete 3:00pm - 5:00pm
- Free Colorado Springs Philharmonic Concert 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Monday June 27th
- Pop-Up Film Festival beginning at 11:00am with last film starting at 6:30pm
The museum is 60,000 square feet that opened in July 2020. It has been dedicated to America's greatest athletes and their compelling stories. It consists of 12 different galleries, dozens of interactive exhibits and is one of the most accessible museums in the world. Open captions, audio-description tracks, assisted listening, universal keypads, accessible exhibit spaces with ramped experiences and RFID-triggered customizations are some of the universal design technologies the museum features.
The United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum was the Country's Best New Attraction in 2020 from USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Award. There is so much to see and do inside the museum!
