1. Full Moon Hike

When: Friday, November 23rd 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Cost: $10 at the door or advanced tickets can be purchased here at $5 ages 13+, 12 and under are free

Where: Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center

Why:  This is a once a year opportunity to see all the Project Mars winners. Project Mars is an annual graphic art and film competition that brings in competitors from all over the globe. From college students to early career professionals, these visual interpretations of mars and space exploration will be sure to blow your mind. See and hear why these selected pieces of art were selected as the top in the world. The Space Foundation Discovery Center is one of only a few places where you can see the winning pieces in person as this great event.


2. Winter Lights at Seven Falls

When: Now until February 24th

Where: Seven Falls

Why: Seven Falls has been one of the staple landmarks in Colorado Springs history. This incredible natural water feature is a great place to visit any time of the year, however, in the winter time when the lights go up, it is quite the spectacle. With more than 100,000 individual lights featuring a winter themed atmosphere complete with holiday excitement. The lights are up now and look absolutely incredible. 3. Broadmoor Galleries Black Friday Show

When: November 23rd, 2018 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Where: The Broadmoor Hotel

Why: The Broadmoor Galleries are one of the most sought-after galleries in all of Colorado. With the Broadmoor Hotel being one of two 5-star hotels in Colorado these Galleries are up to the same level. These galleries have an impressive array of western themed art. From local to national, and internationally acclaimed artists this event will be sure to turn plenty of heads. 


4. Skate in the Park

When: Open now! See the schedule here

Cost: $10 Children 4 and under are free with paid adult

Where: Downtown Colorado Springs

Why: Skate in the park is an awesome event put on by downtown Colorado Springs. A portion of Acacia Park is converted into a skate park and you have the opportunity to go ice skating right in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs. 5. The Nutcracker

When: All weekend, see the schedule here

Where: Pikes Peak Center for Performing Arts

Why: This holiday classic will add a little bit of joy to your holiday season. With families being the perfect audience the impressive athleticism of this talented ballet will be a guarantee to impress people of all ages. Bring some adventure into this wonderful holiday season with this winter classic peformance.
