1. Colorado Springs Rodeo (COS Rodeo)

When: July 4th MATINEE SHOW: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

WhereNorris Penrose Event Center

Why: If you love getting down and dirty with some rodeo fun Colorado Springs Rodeo is a must-do event for you. We love this event for many reasons but one of the main reasons is because the Colorado Springs Rodeo actually lets the crowd participate in the Rodeo! You may have young kids who are adventurous, want a challenge and want to take on some animals in classic rodeo style. Your kids may be licking their chops to participate in Mutton Bustin' (riding a lamb). Also, don't be shy, show your toughness and be a brave soul by trying your hand at some steer Ridin' or Team Sortin'. Also, enjoy Lunch and Public events from 11:00 to 1:00 pm and then the pro events will commence at 1 which includes Buckin' Horse, Barrel Racin', and Bull Ridin' and will end at 3pm. This Rodeo will include something very special if you are there to see it (or taste it) in person: Pie Baking Contest! Which will start at 2pm.
