Why: The Bear Run 2018 will be the 4th annual and is the perfect event for families looking to have a ton of family fun. Dress up in your favorite bear costume or participate in the costume contest with a different costume. The course is a 3K so it is the perfect distance for families to get outside and get some exercise. Bear Creek Nature Center is located in Southwest Colorado Springs
Why: The Vienna Boys Choir has a deep history. This group is a compilation of boys who are super talented singers who are from all over the world and a well-known the world over. The choir performs a wide variety of music rangings from contemporary all the way back to medieval as well as music from around the world. This event will be sure to impress anyone interested in music appreciation and the history of music. UCCS is located near the Palmer Park neighborhood where there is a wide array of impressive homes to choose from.
Why: Rock legends Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin will be joining by Bad Wolves and the Broadmoor Arena for a night full of hard rock surely to give you jolts of energy and an inclination to headbang a bit. These rock heroes are famous the world over and will be rocking out Broadmoor's World Arena this Wednesday Night. It is a real treat to have this incredible venue in our own city so we can have great headlining shows like this one. The Broadmoor Area also has plenty of great homes for sale to choose from.
Why: Colorado Springs Young Professionals is presenting their last Colorado Springs Outdoor Sports and Red Expo of the year. There will be an array of vendors such as retail stores, manufacturers, and nonprofits as well. The sponsor of the event is Axe & Oak Distillery. There will be representation from just about any outdoor sport you can think of and plenty of libations and food to go around. There is nothing more exciting than the approaching winter sports season so we will see you there!
Why: El Paso County Park is hosting this great event aimed at getting kids outdoors doing exciting things. The event allows kids and their parents to take an interactive short hike complete with a story and activities. Explore nature with your kids in an amazing setting at the Fountain Creek Nature Center. The Fountain Area is a bustling area of Colorado Springs with amazing views of the Rocky Mountain Front Range and Pikes Peak.
