Saturday December 3rd there are an array of events to get you in the Holiday Spirit!
Chasing Santa 5k/Cycling Santa Bike Ride begins with the bikes starting at 9:00am and the Run/Walk starting at 10:00am. Grab your whole family for this event on Saturday December 3rd. Not sure what to wear, how about a Santa Suit?!? With your race registration you will receive a full Santa Suite! This includes: Pants, Jacket, Belt, Hat and Beard. The Red Leg Brewing Company is the new location this year, be sure to stick around for after the race for the expo and prize drawings. Bike riders don't miss out on hot chocolate and waffles being served at The Buffalo Lodge as the turnaround point.
The Second Annual EaDo Colorado Springs Christkindl Market is 11:00am to 3:00pm. This event will be hosted concurrently by Mash Mechanix Brewing Company and 1350 Distilling, both will be serving Special Holiday Drinks. There will be 30 local artist and vendors to help with your Holiday Shopping and a couple of food trucks if you want to grab some lunch. You also have a chance of winning door prizes and to purchase a Second Annual EaDo Colorado Springs Market Glass.
9:00am to 6:00pm: The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum will be open with discounted price, $10 admission.
12:00 to 5:00pm: Beer Garden, Food Trucks, Christmas Tree Farm, Hayrides, and more!
12:00 to 1:00pm: Children's Orchestra Performance
1:00 to 2:30pm: Canine Companions
1:30 to 2:30pm: Children's Chorale
2:00 to 3:00pm: Olympian, Ginny Thrasher (2016)
3:00 to 4:00pm: Olympian, Samantha (Schultz) Achterberg (2020)
4:00 to 5:00pm: Paralympian, Hailey Danz (2016 and 2020) and Paralympian, Kendall Gretsch (2018, 2020 and 2022)
Sunday December 4th join the fun filled "Gingerbread Run" Fundraiser and Free Indoor Family Friendly Festival! The event festivities are 1:00-5:00 pm at the City Auditorium in Downtown Colorado Springs. The Festival is free entry and will consist of door prizes for anyone dressed up according to theme, gingerbread story reenactment, food vendors and much more! The race/chase begins at 2:00pm and upon completion you get to eat your gingerbread cookie!
