Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs Breakfast with the Builders | Colorado Springs Homes
This morning we had the privilege to join the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs at their annual Breakfast with the Builders event. This was a great way for us to network with some of our favorite home builders around the city as well as catching up with great housing resources around Colorado Springs. Also, in attendance was an array of landscapers, spas, decks and even manufacturers of all sorts of sorts of construction and home building products.
Some of the highlights of the event this morning included meeting with some of our most trusted partners such as Challenger Homes, Unified Title and Colorado Springs Utilities. Did you know there are a ton of resources from Colorado Springs Utilities to help you reduce your energy bill?
From Water Wise Landscape Classes. CHECK CURRENT SCHEDULE HERE. The classes are held at the Conservation and Environmental Center which is located at 2855 Mesa Rd., Colorado Springs, 80904. Did you know that if you are a new home buyer Colorado Springs Utilities will give you a $100 coupon for a shrub or tree if you attend a water-wise landscaping class. This is a sweet deal! Nice work Colorado Springs Utilities!!!
Additionally, we were fortunate enough to speak with Linsdey and Qale from La Plata Communities. They filled us in on some amazing things going on at The Farm which is located Voyager and Interquest on the North side of Colorado Springs.
This community is one to check out if you are considering purchasing a property in Colorado Springs. SEARCH THE FARM PROPERTIES FOR SALE. Right now The Farm still has some incredible opportunities to live in this brand new community focussed around an outdoor lifestyle with a built-in linear park and trail system complete with areas reserved for wildlife habitat and open space. The park system consists of "nodes" that provide walking, biking, and wildlife watching while socializing with your neighbors and exercising. The system is a real unique attribute for a community to have. Interesting things like a literal fork in the road, which literally is a statue of a fork where the trail splits into the Sante Fe trail. Just one small example of how The Farm is offering art, history and general unexpectedness keeping the community engaged. A truly valuable strategy that has been planned out meticulously by La Plata Communities and even in 10, 20, 40 years this community will be an extremely valuable location with the built-in parks, open spaces and even a state of the art Community Center complete with pool and other amenities.
Another incredible option rarely available is to get in early on one of the 16 lots still available that are exclusively designated for custom homes to be built on. This prime location is the perfect place being just minutes from Interquest Parkway exit on I-25. This combined with spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountain Front Range makes for an impressive location for your next dream home. It is hard to beat having this opportunity and still be encompassed in a masterplan community complete with ponds, open space, parks and trails as well as nearby restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, shopping centers, and more.
A few more of the people we were fortunate to catch up with were the representatives from home builders from all styles, price-ranges, and areas around Colorado Springs. We made a point to speak with every home builder that was at the event this morning. From each builder, we have a list of properties new to the Colorado Springs market.
