2018 Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast
The Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast is a must-see event for locals, newcomers and visitors alike. This iconic celebration is one in which is embedded in western heritage. This deep-rooted western tradition consists of the combination of two flagship western traditions: a pancake breakfast and a horse-ride. This Colorado Springs must-do event is coming up soon!
June 20, 2018 – 5:30 to 9 a.m. – Downtown Colorado Springs at the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue & Tejon Street.

The western heritage is such a big part of that so it is a special thing to be able to participate in the Western Street Breakfast and the Pikes Peak Range Ride. This family-friendly event is right in Downtown Colorado Springs directly in front of RE/MAX Properties, Inc. Downtown office.
So, what does it take to serve 10,000 people breakfast?
1,100 pounds of pancake batter, 1,500 pounds of eggs, 80 gallons of syrup, 500 gallons of coffee, 7,500 pints of milk, 2,500 pints of juice and 1,100 bales of straw for seating.
Join us when we bring out the hay bales and cook up a tasty, hot breakfast enjoy the renowned Flying W Wranglers and local band Exit West and also students who are talented from the Colorado Springs Conservatory. Sweetwater Native American dancers always thrill and amaze with their authentic dress and dances, every year they are incredible! This is a must-see, thing-to-do in Colorado Springs and we can't wait to see you there!

The breakfast is served by Ft. Carson volunteers. Pop a squat on a hay bale and enjoy entertainment from bands as well as dancers and performers. This event supports our local military and their families and happens in Colorado Springs every year!

What Happens at the Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast?
- Breakfast will be served from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Breakfast served by Fort Carson volunteers
- Pikes Peak Range Riders ride out of town on horseback at 8 a.m.
- Appearances by Girl of the West and Aide to the Girl of the West
- Kids Corral with fun activities
- 70th Annual Lil’ Cowboys and Cowgirls Round-Up costume contest
- Trick Roper, Gunslinger and Sweetwater, Native American Dancers
- Music performances by the Flying W Wranglers, Exit West and Colorado Springs Conservatory
How Much Does it Cost?
- Only $5.00 for pancakes, eggs, coffee, juice and milk
- Children 5 and under eat FREE!
- No admission fee to the event
Your ticket to get a great breakfast is a Commemorative Wooden Coin (Token), and it is yours to keep. Tokens can be purchased ahead of time or at the event (cash only).
