A recent article from Livability ranks Colorado Springs as number 9 on a list of 100 for Best Places to Live in America.
One may ask what does it take to make the list? Livability calculates the total of categories such as Civics, Demographics, Economy, Education, Health, Housing, Infrastructure, Amenities and Remote Ready. They also look at factors such as safety, affordability, outdoor recreation, accessibility and, community engagement and give a LIVSCORE to each city. Colorado Springs received a score of 734, only 56 points away from being #1!

Over the past few years downtown Colorado Springs has begun a transformation bringing more businesses, residents, and desire to visit/move to the area. Some transformations include the newly built World Class U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum, the Vermijo Street Plaza, Weidner Stadium, 3,000 new residential units and dozens of new businesses and restaurants.
